Visual research of japanese art of flower arrangement. The book introduces ikebana, places it in its philosophical and historical context, outlines its core principles, and shows how this mindset shapes today’s design, art, and daily life.
Design is based on several ikebana principles, 9-column grid shifts the center line, creating studied asymmetry, the idea of Ma (meaningful emptiness) emerges through light 100 g/m2 paper: content faintly shows through, layering space and depth.
